Women's basketball leads from start-to-finish in 54-45 win

Sarah Cram had 15 points, eight rebounds and five steals in the opening 20 minutes, and Kathleen Abels added 10 first-half points, as Haverford (2-5) jumped out to a 33-17 halftime lead and cruised for its second straight non-conference win Thursday.
Cram ended the game with 19 points, 11 rebounds and six of the Fords' 18 steals. Abels added a pair of second-half free throws for 12 points, and Liz Theibert grabbed six rebounds in each half for a career-high 12 caroms. Cram, Abels and Theibert were each credited with three assists in the game. First-year guard Marina Zambrotta scored five points and played great defense in her first career start for Haverford.
Immaculata (2-5) was led by Nina Cammarano's 17 points and eight rebounds and Kasey Hicks' 13 points, seven rebounds and six steals. The Mighty Macs were undone by 5-of-26 shooting and 17 turnovers before intermission.
