During his residency, Mr. Narasimhan will offer workshops on South Indian classical music and composition using South Indian musical elements. As stated above, his performance on September 23rd will be a traditional South Indian classical concert, and on September 30th he will lead students in a string quartet concert featuring some of his recent and highly original “fusions” of South Indian and Western classical music.
