Stephon Alexander '93 spoke to an engaged and diverse audience in the KINSC on 9/18. Peppered with humorous anecdotes about his life as a saxophonist, scientist, and a student of jazz, Alexander's talk highlighted the key similarities between doing Physics and Jazz. He also offered advice for students exploring seemingly disparate avenues of interest.

Accompanied by Alex Cahill '11 on stand up double bass, Alexander opened with "Footprints" by Wayne Shorter and later played pieces by John Coltrane.
