Renowned Polish Choir Performs at Haverford!
The Academic Choir of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, Poland, under the direction of Jacek Sykulski, will perform at Haverford College in Founders Great Hall on Monday, November 5th at 6 pm, with an open rehearsal and discussion session beginning at 4:30. The Choir will be joined by the Chambers Singers of Haverford and Bryn Mawr Colleges for a couple of songs. The 2 choirs first performed together during a tour of Poland by the Chambers Singers in 2005. The AMU choir has performed throughout Europe, Asia, and North America. Jacek Sykulski is widely recognized as an innovative composer and arranger through a number of well-received recordings. The rehearsal and concert are free and open to the public.
