The Dolce Suono Trio performs at Haverford College

Their program "Spotlight on Philadelphia Composers" will feature trios for flute, cello, and piano by some of Philadelphia’s most celebrated composers. The Dolce Suono Trio, whose members are Mimi Stillman, flute (Yamaha Performing Artist), Yumi Kendall, cello (The Philadelphia Orchestra), and Charles Abramovic, piano (Temple University), will perform Ned Rorem’s Trio for Flute, Cello, and Piano, George Crumb’s Voice of the Whale, Charles Abramovic’s Beasts, and Curt Cacioppo’s Snake Dance Trio (Soyohim Kachina) with introductions by the composers. This event is free and open to the public.
