Class of 2017: Special Dietary Needs
We want to help accommodate your student’s transition to college by making sure that the Dining Center is a safe and welcoming place for your student to enjoy meals.
Dear Parent/Guardian of the Class 2017,
Welcome to Haverford College! We want to help accommodate your student’s transition to college by making sure that the Dining Center is a safe and welcoming place for your student to enjoy meals.
Nicole Patience is the Bi-College Dietitian at Haverford and Bryn Mawr Colleges. As the dietitian, Nicole serves as an advocate for all students. However, we realize some may have special dietary needs. Therefore we have created an online form designed to allow us to understand individual dietary needs, such as needs associated with Crohn’s, Celiac or diabetes, and students with food allergies. If your student has a medically-related dietary need, such as those listed above, please make sure he or she completes the online form: Bi-Co Dietitian Special Diet Needs Form
After completion, the form should be saved and sent directly to the dietitian at email@example.com by July 15, 2013. For your information, a copy of the form is printed on the reverse side of this letter. If you wish to ensure absolute confidentiality, please mail this completed form to:
Nicole Patience Dining Services Bryn Mawr College 101 N. Merion Avenue Bryn Mawr, PA 19010 Once your student has completed the form, Nicole will carefully review the information. It will allow her to reach out to your student when he or she arrives on campus, and to share accommodations that are already in place. Nicole may check in with your student during the first semester to see if he or she has any suggestions, comments or special menu requests.
