Stephon Alexander represents U.S. at major Indian-U.S. Scientific Symposium


This March, Assoc. Prof. Stephon Alexander was the U.S. speaker on "String Theory and Geometry" at the Indo-US Frontiers of Science Symposium organized by the Indo-US Science and Technology Forum, the U.S. National Academy of Sciences and the Kavli Institute.

This spring, Associate Professor of Physics Stephon Alexander attended the Indo-US Frontiers of  Science Symposium organized by the Indo-US Science and Technology Forum, the U.S. National Academy of  Sciences and the Kavli Institute. Prof. Alexander was the speaker representing the U.S. in the interdisciplinary session "String Theory and Geometry", as well as the only liberal arts professor attending. The main aim of this interdisciplinary symposium was to bring together front-ranking scientists from India and United States, under the age of 45 years both as audience and speakers/chairs.
