Stardust settled on campus during the weekend of November 10th. That's when the Alumni Year In The Arts — Haverford's year-long program that's putting students in touch with alumni who are working in the Arts — focused on film and television.
Alumni experts included Daniel Dae Kim '90, actor ("Lost"), Diane Davison '86, entertainment lawyer, Roger Director '71, writer ("Hill Street Blues," "Moonlighting"), Chris Goutman '73, producer ("As the World Turns"), Mark Hudis '90, writer/producer ("That 70s Show"), Jeff Silberman '78, entertainment lawyer and Jon Wax '94, drama development.
A Friday night panel discussion separated fact from fantasy; student workshops followed on Saturday.
Actor Daniel Dae Kim also sat down for a video interview with Bi-College News Editor-in-Chief, Dave Merrell '09. Highlights include Daniel's first acting experience (which was right here at Haverford), the realities of living in New York City on $6,000 a year, and finding his big break in a show about getting lost.
