Photo Gallery: Haverford in Paris
In June, President Stephen G. Emerson '74 and a contingent of Haverford faculty, staff and alumni traveled to Paris for the official return of the Descartes letter to the Institut de France. A special ceremony and a gala reception marked the occasion.
The reception room at the Hotel du Talleyrand, a restored 18th-century townhouse that was designed and decorated by two of the most important architects of the period.
