Welcome

The Department of Music at Haverford College has been serving the campus community for more than 60 years. We also function as the music department for Bryn Mawr College. Our academic courses offer a creative approach to music theory, our curriculum in music history deals with music in the social context and embraces world music and jazz, and our applied music program and ensembles give students abundant performance and frequent tour opportunities. Our Guest Artists Concert series brings world class musicians to our stage, and allows students to interact with great performers on a close personal level through masterclasses and workshops. This year the highly acclaimed Network for New Music continues its residency with us.
