Haverford presents the only Philadelphia-area appearance of Ms. McDemott and her inspired interpretations of Prokofiev. In three recitals McDermott will perform his nine piano sonatas

The Bard Festival String Quartet, along with Schubert scholar Christopher Gibbs, will present a program of music by Beethoven (Op. 131) and Schubert (Op. 161), along with a pre-concert lecture on the connections between the two works.
