Expectations of MMUF Program Fellows: Evaluations
All fellows appointed in the sophomore year will be reevaluated at the end of the junior year before being approved to continue for the second year. This will give students, mentors, and coordinators the chance to more fully determine if the program offers the right match between a student's career objectives and the MMUF Program’s goals.
Senior fellows are required to deliver a public presentation at the end of the second semester of their senior year on their senior thesis/senior research project.
The Mellon Foundation requires each fellow to complete and submit regular records to the Foundation. Both the Mellon Foundation and the Haverford MMUF coordinators must have access to up-to-date contact information for fellows----even after graduation. Because the Mellon Foundation is committed to making a long-term investment in its fellows, collecting and updating contact information, and maintaining accuracy of all relevant data pertaining to MMUF Fellows, is crucial not only to assess the effectiveness of the Program, but also for notifying and providing Fellows of the vast array of resources available to them post graduation, through the tenure process. Hence, it is essential that accurate and up-to-date records be maintained on each MMUF student.
Periodically, you will receive reporting forms (online and hard copy). Please make sure to complete and return them promptly.
