Prerequisites: Math 114 (integral calculus) or equivalent.

Course summary :
This course covers several topics in calculus that naturally follow differentiation and integration, most notably infinite series and parametric curves. These topics are approximately the material on the BC Advanced Placement exam not covered on the AB exam.

You may take this course as a natural follow-up to our half-semester Math 114, a course on integral calculus. On the other hand, you may place out of Math 114, in which case you can take any one or more of Math 115, 116, or 117 before moving on to multivariable calculus, linear algebra, or other math courses. A typical combination for a student with this level of advanced placement would be to take Math 116 in the first half of Fall 2003 and then Math 115 in the second half, but others combinations are possible.
