Research

My main research area is algebraic combinatorics, with a special emphasis on enumeration, partially ordered sets, and applications to representation theory.

• Information about a Mathematica package (Posets.m) for exploring combinatorial properties of posets. I have developed this package as a joint project with Haverford undergraduates over several summers between 1990 and 2012.
• Information about a Mathematica package (symfun.m) for manipulating symmetric functions, developed with Haverford undergraduates in 2004 and updated from 2009-12.
