database, please look for it in Tripod
Library Catalog.
Students
• Students can come to the LLC to watch a video when the LLC is
open. However, they cannot check out any LLC videos.
Faculty
Faculty can
• reserve videos for their classes in the LLC.
• check out videos unless they are reserved by another faculty
member.
• ask the LLC to show a movie to their classes in the LLC.
Where can you watch a VHS tape or DVD?
• Six computers are connected to VCRs. These VCRs can play NTSC
tapes with the application "USBVision." For more information,
please go to the instructions for
using USBVision.
• There is a TV with VCR/DVD player in the LLC. This TV can play
only NTSC VHS tapes and region 1 DVDs. Four people can watch a video at
once with wireless headphones. To watch region 2 DVDs, you need to use
the external DVD player attached to the TV.
• The VCR at the front of the Center can play VHS tapes or DVDs
of any region. The movies can be projected to the big screen.
• All the computers in the LLC can play DVDs. Workstations 22, 23,
and 24 are set to region 2. The other computers are set to region 1.
