Proofing Tool: changing the language of the spelling dictionary
Office 2008 and Office 2004 for Macintosh
1) Select the text that's written in another language.
2) On the Tools menu, click Language.
3) In the Mark selected text as box, select the language
that you want, and then click OK.
4) After you mark the text, check the spelling in your document.
When the spelling checker encounters the marked text, it uses the specified language dictionary to check the text. Then, the spelling checker returns to the default language dictionary to check the rest of the document.
Office 2007 for Windows
1) Select the text that's written in another language.
2) On the Review menu, click Set Language.
3) In the Mark selected text as box, select the language
that you want, and then click OK.
4) After you mark the text, check the spelling in your document.
Office 2003 for Windows
1) Select the text that's written in another language.
2) On the Tools menu, click Language.
3) In the Mark selected text as box, select the language
that you want, and then click OK.
