This workshop is for any faculty member who wants to create audio materials.
After this workshop, you will be able to:
• Set up a USB microphone
• Download Audacity
• Create a mp3 file with Audacity
• Create a quicktime file with QuickTime Pro
• Edit an audio file with Audacity and QuickTime Pro
Ideas for using audio materials in foreign language classes will be discussed.

This workshop is for any faculty member who wants to create own podcast.
After this workshop, you will be able to:
1. Describe what a Podcast is.
2. Subscribe to a podcast.
3. Sync with
an iPod.
4. Create your own podcast episode.
5. Subscribe
to your own podcaste using iTunes.
Prerequisite: Audacity and QuickTime Pro workshop listed above.
