the tri-college library catalog; each catalog item record is listed with
its library location code, and the Haverford codes (those starting with
"H") link back to the matching line on this page. Most library materials
are shelved alphabetically by call number, according to Library
of Congress Classification System.
The location codes in the left-hand column represent shelving
areas in the libraries at Haverford College: The Astronomy Library in
the Observatory, Magill Library, the Science Library in Hilles/Koshland,
the Music Library in Union, and other locations. A campus
map and directions
to the Haverford College campus are available.
The information to the right is a further description of
the shelving area. Some location listings also include links to Magill
Library floormaps highlighting the shelving areas. The floormaps are Portable
Document Format 
files, and require the use of the free Adobe
