- Begin work flow by entering information on the title
to Verde.
- Once we are registered for access and before cataloging,
go to the web site of the electronic journal and make sure we have access
to full text of articles.
- If the journal has an Object Portfolio on the KB, activate
the Object, Target Service GetFullTxt, and Target on SFX instance via
the synchronization option in Verde, and notify Tri-College E-resources
Cataloging Head Amy Rojek arojek@brynmawr.edu
of newly activated targets or sub-targets. Create a brief bib on Tripod
(see example below); this will be replaced by a bib record created in
the next MARCit! service load.
- If the title is not on Verde/SFX and it is necessary
to export a bib. record from OCLC, choose a CONSER record when available
(see 010 & 042)
and edit to conform to local cataloging policies as in example below.
