- Open Millennium:
- At Enter Login and Password,
type Username and Password.
- At Enter Initials and Password,
Use standard bds + password.
- Pull Index: down to .RECORD
#, click.
- Type b then the number
of the record you want to use, then click Search.
- Click Edit. Pull down the
Edit menu to Copy
Record, click.
- At a 100
1 Type the author’s name, last name, first name, and middle
initial, if present. Hit Enter. NOTE:
DO NOT TYPE A PERIOD AT THE END OF ANY LINE.
- At t 245 1 After the 1,
type the number of non-filing characters (A=2,
An=3, The=4,
otherwise zero) at the beginning of the title. Then type the title as
it appears on the title page. Hit Enter.
NOTE: CAPITALIZE
PROPER NOUNS ONLY.
- At p 260 |c2003, this should
indicate the year. Adjust if necessary.
- At r 300 Type the number
of leaves. Look through the thesis for illustrations. If there are any,
type ill. after the leaves: e.g., 110 leaves : ill.
- At n 502 Fill in Thesis
(B.A.)--Haverford College, Dept. of [fill in the Department name], [year]
- At n 508 If there is/are
advisors listed, enter any names as they appear on the page: Advisor(s):
- At b 710 2 Haverford College.|bDept.
of [fill in the Department name].|tHaverford College senior theses.
- Click Save button. Click
Summary button, Click summary
tab. Click Attach new item.
- In new item options, be sure Single
item is highlighted, click OK.
- At LOC: type hmstr,
Click Next. Put a barcode on the page
facing the inside back cover. Wand it into the BAR
window, Click Next.
- Pull down Edit menu, click
Insert field. In CALL box, fill in the
space next to 090 with 8,
space, type THESIS [Department name] [year]. Click OK.
- Click the Save button.
Move to the next record.
