Label should read:
CD-ROMS
- Retain box and any other printed material.
- Plate on printed material, box, or jewel case as
appropriate.
- Barcode on box or jewel case as appropriate.
- Pocket (targetted) on box or jewel case as appropriate.
- Write location and call number on clear plastic hub
of top side of disc with indelible marker. Under no circumstances
should you write on the underside of the disc or on the printed
top side beyond the hub in the middle.
- Spine label on outer box and jewel case as appropriate.
In all cases, CD-ROM packaging tends not to have much
blank space, so try not to cover text when labeling.
Note: These instructions
are for stand-alone CD-ROMs. Processing of books that come with CD-ROMs
or other computer disks should be decided on a case-by-case basis
(see also Books with CD-ROMs or Floppy disks). These items are housed
