Disk should come to processing housed in a large cardboard
cover like an LP cover.
- Stamp "Haverford College Library" (i.e.
the "cassette stamp") on pre-existing label on disk, or
write with special indelible ink labeling pen.
- Emboss printed material.
- Plate only if special plate is needed (i.e. don't
attach a plain Magill plate); attach plate to front of pocket; if
a large pre-printed plate is required, don't use -- instead, type
its message onto a Magill plate with border (i.e. "Gift of
the Library Associates").
- Barcode on cover.
- Write call number on existing label on disk with
special labeling pen. Under no circumstances should you write on
the clear/blank part of the disc (top or bottom sides) because this
is where the data is stored on the disc.
- Spine label on cover, in lower left corner.
- Pocket (targetted) on back cover or inside if cover
is gatefold (try not to cover any significant information).
- Insert any additional materials, such as a pamphlet,
into the cover.
