Use acid-free processing procedures.
- Acid-free plate laid in book.
- Write call number in pencil on reverse of last blank
page (not end paper).
- No target.
- No pocket.
- No spine label.
- Acid-free flag with call number and barcode -- place
call number label and barcode on opposite sides of the flag (front
and back), both at the top, so that they stick out of the top edge
of the book and do not touch the pages or covers.
Place completed book, with paperwork, in hands of Special
Collections staff.
