In Millennium, diacritics are inserted into bib records by selecting the proper diacritic from the Character map. The Character Map is accessed under the Tools drop down menu located on the toolbar at the top of the screen. Use the following procedure:

1. While in the Edit view of bib record, place cursor where diacritic should appear in the record.



2. Once cursor is in the proper place, click on Tools drop-down menu on the toolbar at the top of the screen.



3. Select Character Map.



4. Choose appropriate diacritic chart from Code Chart drop-down menu.



5. Highlight on the chart the diacritic that is to be inserted into the bib record.



6. Click Insert.



7. Click Close.



8. Chosen diacritic should now appear in bib record. Click Save at the top of screen to make the change permanent.
