Books With Accompanying Audio Music CDs

1. Separate CD from book.



2. Put in empty jewel case.



3. Barcode on back of case.



4. Create item with MCD call number for CD, housed in hurec.    (Find next available number in "other call number" index (search key L) - i.e. lMCD.)



5. Note other elements of CD items:
   
        Loc=hurec
        Call number formatted: 090 81 MCD|b1234
        Prefix=compact disc
        STATUS=p
        IMESSAGE=p
        ICODE2=i
        Message=Check for 1 disc   (If a booklet is present, use: Check for 1 disc and 1 enclosure.)
   


6. Put note in CD item reading: "accompanies book shelved at ML597 .W37 2002 in Magill"



7. Put note in book item reading: "CD housed in Music Library at MCD 1234".



8. Write in book, near CD pocket: "CD housed in Music Library at MCD 1234".



9. Have label printed, removing prefix from label.



10. Put a written note in CD case with MCD call number and "accompanies book at ML597 .W37 2002".
