- There will not be any books with call numbers beginning
with "N" in Magill stacks (location
hm).
- Only Rare (htrb),
Philips wing (hmpl), and Reference books
(hmref) with call numbers beginning with
"N" will not be in the Art
Collection (hmart). Most (except for a
few Photo books) other books with call numbers beginning with "N"
will be in the Art Collection.
- Art books too tall for regular Art Collection will be
place in Art Folio (amarf). If the book
is too tall to fit on the Art Folio shelves, it will go into Art Oversize
(hmaro). These locations will be determined
by the Arts Bibliographer. For folio guidelines, see Folio

- Books with call numbers beginning with "N"
containing few or no illustrations should be called to the attention
of the Arts Bibliographer, as they are processed differently from books
with many illustrations.
- Colored dots will no longer be used to indicate
books in the Art and Photo Collections.
