Readings for the Classroom, and Useful Web
Sites
Below is a list of printed references which emerged from our
seminar discussions, or from bibliographies suggested by
lecturers, on ways to present religious diversity in college
classroom settings. The name/date reference following some entries
is keyed to the presenter/dat, to provide the context in which the
reading was suggested, though the citations were not necessarily
provided by the presenter; the presenter's discussion sometimes
elicited suggestions from participants in the room. Just a name
following an entry indicates a lecturer's suggestions for general
reading. Many of these citations were suggested with caveats, so
you may want to refer to the contextual notes before you use the
reading in the classroom.
