Places Described In The Cope Evans Letters
The letters mapped here were written to and from the closely related Quaker families of Cope and Evans of Germantown (Philadelphia, Pa.). The vast majority are between immediate family members (parents and children, husbands and wives, brothers, sisters) and describe day to life, travel, and other matters. The map below was a demonstration effort to create a simple map of the collection, which is described in a finding aid, and available through Tryptich.
