B&W Printer/Copier/Scanner

This device provides black-and-white copies for 15¢ (letter/legal sizes) and 30¢ (ledger size). This device also scans in both black-and-white (default) and color, which is free of charge to students, faculty and staff of the Tri-College community.
Haverford Users
You will credential to this device using your OneCard.
Bryn Mawr, Swarthmore, and alumni of Haverford
You will credential to this device using a card provided at the Circulation Desk.
Copying
- Using coins or cash ($1 and $5), place money into the tower to the left of the device.
- Place single page on glass or in feeder tray on top of device.
- Check settings.
- Press the green "START" button.
- Change will be dispensed from the tower. Please note that only coins will be disbursed as change. Smaller bills are available at the Circulation Desk in Magill.
Scanning
Haverford Users
- Wave your OneCard near the rectangular reader on the front of the device. You should hear a beep. If you don't, please seek help at the Circulation Desk.
- The device will display "Authenticating" before taking you to the menu. You'll know you credentialed correctly if Sign Out is noted in the bottom right-hand side of the display panel.
- Press the E-mail option.
- The TO and FROM should auto-populate with your name, which corresponds to your Haverford email account. You can add a subject and file name for your scan if you wish.
- If you have loose documents to scan, place them in the document feeder. Push them in firmly, then click the green START button.
- If what you wish to scan is not loose, open the cover and place the first page on the glass. Click the green START button. The system will respond with Scanning Job Build Segment. You will be prompted to Finish or Scan. If you have more pages to scan, place the next one on the glass, then click Scan. When finished, click Finish.
- The system will prompt you to stay logged in or sign out. Click YES if you wish to continue scanning; NO if you wish to sign out of the device.
- If you don't see your scanned PDF in your inbox, check your spam folder.

- Use the down arrow on the right side of the display to scroll to the Network Folder option. Click it.
- Click the Public Labs option on the left. This will populate the correct folder directory on the right side of the display.
- Click the bmc-sc default. Using the pop-up keypad, type a new filename for your scan.
- If what you wish to scan is not loose, open the cover and place the first page on the glass. Click the green START button. The system will respond with Scanning Job Build Segment. You will be prompted to Finish or Scan. If you have more pages to scan, place the next one on the glass, then click Scan. When finished, click Finish.
- The system will prompt you to stay logged in or sign out. Click YES if you wish to continue scanning; NO if you wish to sign out of the device.
- Log into a public computer. On the desktop double-click the Scan-to-Folder icon. You will see your scan. After you've printed, emailed, or saved it, please delete it from the folder.
- When you're finished, please return the card to the Circulation Desk.
