Magill Library has 165 student carrels and 30 faculty carrels that may be reserved for pairs of students or individual faculty. Any Haverford student or professor may apply for a carrel.

Student carrels are assigned by lottery at the beginning of each fall semester for a period of one year. Faculty carrels are also assigned as needed, to be re-assigned or renewed each academic year.

Applications for carrels are always available at Circulation Services. Students may download and print an application here (pdf).
