EZProxy
Current Haverford students, faculty, and staff can access subscription databases from outside the Tri-College computing network by using EZProxy. EZProxy works with any secure web browser, and does not require any customization of your browser's settings. To use EZProxy, you will need to know your HC e-mail username and password (the same you use for HaverApps).
Here's how it works: Before you begin using Tripod or the library’s resources, log in to EZProxy via the "Off Campus Access" menu in the upper right corner in Tripod. Once you have logged in, you can then search as you would when on campus. Ensure you navigate by clicking on links, not by typing in URLs into the address bar.
You can tell that you are being proxied because the URL will contain “ezproxy.haverford.edu” (e.g., “http://tripod.brynmawr.edu.ezproxy.haverford.edu”). If you no longer see “ezproxy.haverford.edu” in the URL, then add “https://ezproxy.haverford.edu/login?url=” to the beginning to reinitiate your proxy session.
