The internships provide mentored experiences in clinical and translational sciences to students from Bryn Mawr College, Franklin & Marshall College, Haverford College, Lincoln University, Swarthmore College, and Penn.
The Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA) at the University of Pennsylvania now offers a Summer Undergraduate Internship Program. The description to the program can be accessed through this site, http://www.itmat.upenn.edu/ctsa/ctsa_education.shtml which contains a link to a detailed description of the internships and to the application. Translational research refers to the attainment and transfer of new knowledge from the bench to the clinic – and from the clinic to the bench.
The Clinical and Translational Science Summer Undergraduate Internships provide mentored experiences in clinical and translational sciences to students from Bryn Mawr College, Franklin & Marshall College, Haverford College, Lincoln University, Swarthmore College, and the University of Pennsylvania.
