Some features that distinguish RISE from many other summer programs include:
- Exciting interdisciplinary opportunities that span the biological, physical, behavioral and computational sciences. Research in the biomedical sciences is jointly sponsored by UMDNJ- Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, with which we share a flagship campus. - Student input into selection of faculty mentor - Extensive professional enrichment including training on scientific speaking and writing, GRE prep, and guidance on graduate school admission and career options
