We asked Dr. Sapolsky how often he goes to Africa for field research. He responded by telling us that he used to go for an entire season each year, but as his children get older the time he spends in Africa becomes less and less. On average, he spends somewhere between two and four months per year researching baboons in Kenya. Click here to watch Dr. Sapolsky talk about his field research. (2:20-2:32)
