Tutors
Students from Haverford and Bryn Mawr Colleges prepare the course curricula, devise and teach the scientific labs, and work one-on-one with high school and middle school students as tutors in the MAST program.
- Tutors take pride in their participation in MAST and try to create an environment that is productive as well as fun.
- Tutors serve as mentors and role models. They can answer questions about college life as well as science.
- Science tutors create a laboratory curriculum exploring a variety of fields, including chemistry, physics and biology.
- Writing tutors work in small groups with their students as they write essays on topics of their choice.
