Student Biography
Christen Fornadel graduated from Haverford College magna cum laude with High Honors in Biology in 2004. She received a Fulbright Fellowship to study molecular epidemiology in Australia from 2004-2005. She was a Beckman Scholar for Outstanding Chemistry and Biological Research . In 2005 she entered graduate school as a PhD Candidate in Molecular Microbiology and Immunology at Johns Hopkins University where she was also selected as a member of the first class of Hopkins Sommer Scholars, students with a variety of professional aspirations chosen "for their promise of leadership and their commitment to global health".
