Deb Wiediger Strecker is a graduate of Dickinson College, where she majored in Psychology and Sociology. Originally from Bucks County, Deb returned to the area after spending four years working in Annual Giving and Leadership Giving at Dickinson. Deb is currently responsible for managing the Alumni Relations & Annual Giving program. Deb is an avid Philadelphia sports fan and enjoys cheering on the Phillies and Eagles. When she's not watching sports, she's playing tennis or softball.
Sandra Johnson hails from Brooklyn, New York where she attended Brooklyn College and majored in Nutrition and Dietetics. She has been living in Elkins Park, PA. since 1994, prior to that she resided in Atlanta, GA. Before moving to Atlanta , she was an administrator in the External Affairs Department at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York. She has worked in Institutional Advancement since 1995. Her primary responsibilities are working with volunteers both reunion and non-reunion, coordinating regional events for some of the major tier cities and coordinating several featured events at Alumni Weekend. In addition, she is a liaison to various on campus and volunteer organizations. She spends her free time with family and friends, enjoys baking and cooking, is a jazz enthusiast and loves attending cultural events.
Terrence Williams is a graduate of Salisbury University, where he studied Psychology and Communication Arts. A native of Washington, D.C., he has made Philadelphia his home since coming to work at Haverford. He has held positions at Colorado College, St. Lawrence University and the University of Georgia, so he comes to Haverford vetted in the field of Higher Education and eager to contribute his skills and talents to the Annual Giving Team. Williams enjoys staying active by playing sports and walking the beautiful trails on Haverford's campus. Additionally he is a musician, writer and an excellent cook.
Elizabeth Finley has been working in the field of annual giving and alumni relations at Quaker educational institutions since 2002. She majored in French at Middlebury College and holds a master’s degree in art history from The George Washington University. In her spare time, Elizabeth enjoys travel, running, gardening, and spending time with her husband, two daughters, and Hungarian sheepdogs.
Originally from the Philadelphia area, Lauren Nash is delighted to be back after spending 8 years in Boston. After graduating from Penn State, she began a career in event management, which has included both the corporate and non-profit sectors. Lauren comes to Haverford from the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute where she managed fundraising events to support cancer care and research. Lauren enjoys running outdoors, spending time with her family, catching independent films, and trying new restaurants.
Catherine Toia takes great pleasure in working with current and future alumni. In her off time she knits, sews, gardens and commits acts of home maintenance.
Doug Stuart grew up outside of Reading, Pennsylvania and graduated from Gettysburg College in 2004 with a Biology major. Before joining the staff at Haverford College, he worked in the College of Arts & Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania as an admissions and alumni affairs liaison for the College Dean's Office. In 2007, he completed an M.S.Ed in Higher Education at Penn's Graduate School of Education. He lives in West Philadelphia, enjoys running and is an avid Phillies fan.
Jill Miller is a graduate of Northwestern University, where she majored in both communications and history. While in Chicago, Jill worked for the national office of the YMCA, writing grants and managing annual giving for the International Division. After relocating to the Philadelphia area (a move which thankfully brought her closer to her native New England), Jill completed her Master's Degree in Education and became the children's librarian for her local library before returning to the annual giving field at Rosemont College and, most recently, at The Haverford School, where she was the Director of Annual Giving for four years. Jill enjoys all manner of outdoor activity, particularly running and walking through the neighborhoods and trails around the college, and spending time with her three wonderful boys - her husband, her son, and her Labrador retriever.
Craig Waltman graduated from Elizabethtown College with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Political Science. After college, Craig served as a college admissions counselor before beginning his career in Institutional Advancement at The Pathway School. He then spent six years working in the Annual Giving office at Swarthmore College. Most recently, Craig was a fundraising and communications consultant working with colleges and public broadcasting stations throughout the country. Craig is an avid Phillies fan. He also enjoys spending time with his wife, son and dogs.
Lauren Craley graduated from Gettysburg College with a degree in Sociology. She discovered her passion for higher education after spending four years working and volunteering in the Development and Alumni Relations office as an undergraduate. Prior to joining the team at Haverford, Lauren worked with student and young alumnae programs at Bryn Mawr College. Living on the Main Line, she enjoys exploring the greater Philadelphia area, reading, swimming, and spending time with family and friends.
Anne Koellhoffer graduated from Haverford College in 2009 with a major in economics and a concentration in the Peace and Conflict Studies program. As an undergrad, Anne worked for Alumni Relations and Annual Giving and discovered her passion for the work. She spent two years employed with The Philadelphia Foundation in donor relations before returning to Haverford to take the Jill Sherman Fellowship position. As a resident of the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia, Anne enjoys exploring local coffee shops and restaurants. Additionally, she often escapes the city confines to go horseback riding in Bucks County.
Julia Gelman-Sheehan graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in the spring of 2011 where she studied Sociology and Latin American Studies. Throughout college, Julia had several internships with large non-profit organizations in the Philadelphia area and most recently, an internship at the Graduate School of Public Health in Pittsburgh, where she quickly found her love for higher education and fund-raising. Julia loves the city of Philadelphia, discovering new music, and spending time with her family and friends. Having grown up in Swarthmore, Haverford's close knit community is one very close to her heart and she is thrilled to be a part of the Alumni Relations and Annual Giving team!
Carol Bassie Trask graduated from Haverford College in 1986 with a B.A. in biology. After working for two years as a paralegal, Carol attended Temple Law School and spent the next 16 years focusing primarily on employment law. Shortly after leaving the law in 2007, Carol became the Special Events and Volunteer Manager at Westtown School. Carol joined the Haverford team in July 2011 and is thrilled to be "home" and working with milestone reunion classes. Carol enjoys cooking, walking, reading, an eclectic mix of music and spending time with her family and their golden retriever.
Morgan Kreider-Lane is a native Philadelphian and a graduate of Smith College, where she majored in Government. Before joining the Parent Programs, she worked for five years as an admission officer, first at her alma mater and then for three years here at Haverford. Morgan is a bit of a foodie and can often be found baking or trying new restaurants and farmers' markets. She also enjoys attending local cultural events and spending time with her family, friends, and cat.
