Assistant professor of chemistry Helen K. White led a research trip from Pennsacola, Florida to New Orleans, Louisiana. The trip was funded by the Koshland Integrated Natural Sciences Center and is just one example of student and faculty collaboration.
The group collected sand patties--the residue of oil from the Deepwater Horizon spill--during the trip.
