Carl Sigmond ’13, through a grant from the Hurford Center for Arts and Humanities and the Koshland Integrated Natural Sciences Center, documented the life and legacy of his grandfather, Albert Schatz, who discovered streptomycin, the first antibiotic effective against tuberculosis.
