Appointments
Appointments may be made in person at Health Services or by telephone (610) 896-1089.
Appointments are needed for Physicians, Nurse Practitioner, Women's Health
Care Coordinator, the Registered Dietitian, Drug/Alcohol Counselor, and the
Massage Therapist.

After Hours
On-Call Nurse System
After ergular operating hours the On-Call Nurse System is in effect. Students can access the confidential system by calling the security department, Dial 1111 and ask to speak to the on-call nurse. The nurse will call the student back within 15 minutes to assess, give phone advice and triage the health of the student. If medically appropriate the nurse will come back to campus to evaluate the student. This system is not in place during health services regular hours and is not meant as a substitue for the hospital in an urgent or emergency situation.
Cold Care Kit
After regular operating hours, students can access cold care medications, bandaids, temp dots for taking temperature in the 24hour/7days Security Office.
Emergency Care
Call security dail 1111, Security will call 911 for emergency assistance/ambulance transportation to the nearest emergency room/hospital.
Fees for Services and Labratory Tests
There is no fee for outpatient services provided by Haverford College Health Care providers while school is in session.
There is a $10.00 fee for missed appointments.
However, there are fees for all diagnostic tests, allergy injections, medications, supplies, inpatient care, bed boards, and failure to keep appointments without adequate notification. Students are responsible to file claims to their insurance companies.

Please note: any prescription ordered from an outside pharmacy will be at their rate. Any student with a prescription plan is to make special arrangement with pharmacy.
All health services fees will be charged to bookstore account unless
other wise requested.
Remember to ask for receipts at time of visit or at end of each semester.
Any missed appointment with no notification to the health services will be charged a $10.00 fee against your student account.
