What is the Senior Class Gift? (SCG)
sen•ior class gift [seen-yer klas gift]
- a student-led initiative to recognize the financial support that brought you to where you are today and begin a lifetime connection with the College that will provide future generations of Haverfordians with the same advantages that you enjoyed.
- a gift made by the members of the Class of 2013 to the College, via the Annual Fund, the yearly giving program through which Haverford students, alumni, parents, and friends can make donations for the College's current use, providing critical funding for all of Haverford's core priorities.
My Senior Class Gift to the Annual Fund directly impacts financial aid, academic programs, campus maintenance and student activities.
Did you know?
Wondering why should you make a gift to the College while you're still a student? Believe it or not, tuition doesn't represent the true cost of your education; it covers only about 70% of the cost of educating a Haverford student! Yes, tuition is expensive, but without gifts from those closest to the College, student costs would be even greater. Whether giving $10.13, $25.13 or $100.13, your gift will make an impact your current fellow Haverfordians and future generations to come.
