The Haverford Fund

The Haverford Fund is the College’s unrestricted annual giving program. Dollars raised for the Haverford Fund are spent during the current year on College priorities, making an immediate difference for our students, faculty, and campus community. The generous support of our alumni, parents, and friends allows the College to:
- Attract a highly qualified and diverse student body
- Remain committed to our need-blind admission policy
- Attract distinguished teacher-scholars who are actively engaged at the highest levels in their disciplines
- Provide exceptional academic and extracurricular programs and facilities.
Consider the following during the 2006-2007 academic year:
- The cost to educate a Haverford student is approximately $67K.
- Tuition, room & board, and fees total approximately $44K.
- The difference is approximately $23K.
The Haverford Fund, as well as endowment income and other gifts, makes up the difference for our students.
