Haverford's Annual Fund is the College's annual giving program. Dollars raised for the Fund are spent during the current year on crucial College priorities that enhance the Haverford experience for students, faculty and the campus community.

When you give to the Annual Fund, you may choose to direct your gift to a specific area of the Haverford experience:

academic enrichment

Haverford students learn from and work with teacher-scholars in an intellectually rich and open environment, immersed in an ever-evolving process of learning and discovery. Gifts in this area will benefit teaching, learning and research by providing funds for academic departments, curriculum development, instructional programs, libraries and technology services, and the academic centers.
financial aid

We are committed to making Haverford affordable for all academically-qualified students so that those most able to benefit from and contribute to this community may attend, regardless of their ability to pay. Gifts in this area will sustain the College’s commitment to need-blind admission, which is underscored by our more recent decision to replace loans with grants.
student life

Students round out their academic experience with self-governance, volunteerism, performances and more. Gifts in this area will make these opportunities possible, as well as resources such as the bookstore, health services, student activities, career development and the deans’ offices. These critical services ensure that students thrive within a positive and supportive environment.
campus and facilities

Haverford’s campus has long been noted for its beauty and is beloved by alumni, students, faculty and neighbors alike. Gifts in this area will provide funding for the maintenance, grounds- and house-keeping, upgrades and beautification that our campus and facilities require in order to meet the living and learning needs of our community.
athletics

Haverford is committed to the belief that physical education is an integral component of each student’s liberal arts education. Gifts in this area will underwrite the intercollegiate varsity teams, competitive club teams, intramural programs, instructional classes and recreational activities that create and support a culture of intellectual, physical and personal development.
greatest need (unrestricted)

Gifts in this area allow the College the greatest flexibility by providing unrestricted operating support. This option allows the College to determine where your gift will have the greatest impact.

The Annual Fund provides a vital revenue stream that supplements endowment income and tuition revenue. In 2012-2013, the Annual Fund accounts for approximately 7% of the College's operating budget.
