Les devoirs

Most assignments will be submitted electronically (as a Word document attached to an e-mail message, or left on the Wiki, never as a hard copy). Exercises Xeroxed or printed from the Web and contrĂ´les should of course be handed in as hard copy. Work will not be accepted if it's not in my hands or left outside my office by 3 p. m. of the day due, unless you've made another arrangements with me ahead of time. Time spent on assignments will be over and above the 120 minutes you will spend reading and preparing per class.

If you don't have MS Word, you'll need to save your documents in a format readable by Word. You'll need to know how to insert accents in both documents and e-mails; here's help if you don't know how.

I assume all work is done under the terms of the Honor Code. Collaboration of certain kinds is encouraged, but should be noted when appropriate. Going over assignments with me in person ahead of the due date is also encouraged.

Work done at the last minute is rarely as good as work that you've done with time to set it aside and then check it over. Plan ahead!
