The 2012-2013 deadline for current/returning students to d College is
April 20, 2012. The official returning students' deadline of April 20th is always five days after the standard April 15th income tax filing deadline. Our deadline
is always extended whenever April 20th falls on a weekend. Actually, we
are even more flexible than the IRS; those returning students still trying
to complete their 2012-2013 Financial Aid Applications may turn in their
completed forms within a few days of the deadline without any problems.
We are usually engaged with the new students' aid decisions
until the third week of May and it then takes several weeks of work to make
the decisions for the upper classes. Information on the date
financial aid decisions will be mailed is also available.
Please
note special instructions about the College Board's IDOC Service which you
must use to submit all tax returns, Business/Farm Supplements and Non-Custodial
Parent's Statements. Do not send this information directly to Haverford
College. It is important that you and your parents read the complete information
on IDOC and required Financial Aid forms/deadlines (including our FAFSA/Federal
and Profile/College Board codes) in the downloadable "2012-2013 Financial
Aid Instructions for Returning Students" available below.
