The Master Plan
About
The Master Plan was approved in February 2009 by the Board of Managers.
The Steering Committee set out to create a Master Plan that will serve as a living document and decision making tool, providing guidance for the physical development of the College well into the future. The plan is comprehensive, historically responsive, and environmentally sensitive, and takes into consideration Haverford's past, present and future. The plan clearly articulates our priorities as a campus today, and is flexible enough to respond to changing contingencies. In this sense, the Master Plan is never “finished”, and will continue to evolve along with the College community as a whole.
We sincerely thank the members of the Board of Managers, Senior Staff, and the faculty, staff, and student body that contributed their time and thoughtful input to this process. We continue to welcome input about the Master Plan or thoughts about physical spaces on campus in general.
Sincerely,
The Master Plan Steering Committee Co-Chairs

Laurie Kain Hart, Stinnes Professor of Global Studies, Dept. of Anthropology
