New Linkages (click here for application)

Created and sponsored by the Melvin N. and Eunice A. Miller Foundation, New Linkages a Jewish identity project that requires 16 hours of internship placement at a Jewsih organization and 3 Sunday Study sessions for Jewish students at Bryn Mawr, Haverford, and Swarthmore Colleges.  Participating students, known as Miller Fellows, are matched with mentors from local Jewish communal agencies to engage in meaningful community service and career training activities. In cooperation with their mentors, Miller Fellows will develop projects that are responsive to their own educational, social action and/or professional needs to their Jewish identity. Miller Fellows also will participate in three Sunday specially designed Jewish study sessions led by a noted scholar.  Students chosen as New Linkage Miller Fellows will receive a stipend of $200 for the semester after completion of the program.
