Here are a few recent examples of the paths pursued by Haverford Economics
majors:
The Class of 2006
graduated on May 14, 2006. Among them:
- Sartaj Bhuiyan (Dhaka, Bangladesh)
will be joining the Financial Management Program at GE
Capital in Connecticut. Sartaj previously interned with GE during the summer of his
sophomore and junior years.
- Ryan Frankel will be joining
Goldman Sachs,
a leading global investment bank, in New York as an Analyst. Ryan had interned
with Goldman Sachs during
his junior year summer. Prior to that, Ryan had also interned with Deutsche
Bank and Alex Brown.
- John
Oh (Cherry Hill, NJ) will be working at Banc
of America Securities in their Global Capital
Markets Division as an Analyst. John interned
at
Citigroup Alternative Investments and various
Corporate law
firms in the Philadelphia area during his time at Haverford,
specifically, Montogomery, McCracken, Walker,
and Rhoads LLP, and Marshall, Dennehey,
Warner, Coleman, and Goggin, LLP.
- Jennifer Hurford (New York)
will be joining Citigroup in Frankfurt, Germany as an Analyst.
- Jon Kelman (Washington,
DC) has started a 6 month training program
with the Research Division of Velocity Sports & Entertainment, a sports
marketing firm located in Norwalk, CT. Jon had
previously interned with ABC Sports, the Columbus
Blue Jackets,
and the
Philadelphia Wings while at Haverford.
- Lauren Perez is working in
Philadelphia, PA for First Investors
Corporation as a
Financial Advisor.
- Thomas Quinn will be joining
NERA Economic Consulting in New York as a Research Associate.
Last summer, Tom served as a Research Assistant to Prof. Bell
a, having interned at the Illinois Department of Commerce and
Economic Opportunity the summer before that.
- Josemon Raju (Staten Island,
NY) is working for Idyll,
Ltd.,a European travel
company, as a Financial Analyst/Director of Strategic Planning
in Media, PA.
- Anirudh Suri (New Delhi, India)
has been selected as a Junior Fellow at the Carnegie
Endowment for International Peace, a foreign policy think-tank in Washington
D.C. In 2007, he will be joining McKinsey & Co.
in New York as a Business Analyst. During previous summers,
Anirudh interned with Goldman
Sachs in London, China
Institute of International Studies in Beijing, Bank
of New York in New York and the
Carnegie Endowment in D.C.
- Amita Tomkoria will
be joining the Financial Management Program at GE Capital in
Connecticut. Amita previously interned with Morgan
Stanley during the summer
of her junior year.
- Constantinos Vassiliou will be starting as an Analyst in Investment Banking at Bear Stearns in New York. Constantinos had interned with Bear Stearns during his junior year summer.

Group in Washington D.C.
- Laura Boyd is working as a Financial Analyst at UBS Investment
Bank in San Francisco, CA.

Morgan as an Analyst in New York
- Archana Ramachandran joined
New World Investment, Ltd.in New York as a Financial Analyst.
- Caitlin Coslett joined the
Federal
Reserve Board in Washington D.C.
- Jennifer Gibson is working as a Broker/Trader at Geneva
Trading Chicago, LLC in Chicago.
- David Henry joined Booz
Allen Hamilton, a leading consulting
firm, as a Consultant in Washington D.C.
- Jonathan Debrich joined Lehman
Brothers as a Financial Analyst in New York.
- Oleg Nudelman is working as a Clerk at Langsam
Stevens & Silver
LLP in Philadelphia, PA.
- Andrea Robbett is a Consultant with NERA
Economic Consulting in New York.

- Sir Charles Hill joined One Boston Place as a Financial
Analyst in Boston, MA.
- Joe Hoffman is an Investment Bankers with the Vanguard
Group in Valley Forge, PA.
- Neil Kahrim joined Banc of America Securities in New York
as an Investment Banker.
- Quang Lam is a Consultant at Tower Perrin in New York
- Charlotte Maudave is a Researcher at CEID/Georgetown University
in Washington D.C.
- Tim Miller is serving as a Director at Leysin American
School in Switzerland.
- Erica Phillips is a Consultant with Deloitte Consulting
in Chicago, IL.
- Nihad Rahman joined General Electric as an Auditor in
Stamford, CT.
- Elisabeth Smith is a Consultant at Charles River Associates
in Washington D.C.
- Diana Tsao is a Marketing/Advertising Specialist at American
Express in New York.
- Jennifer Whitlock is a Financial Analyst at Lincoln Financial
