Mission Statement
DiverseCity Hoops strives to employ basketball as the vehicle to instill in its camp participants an awareness and appreciation of the diversity of our society through meaningful engagement via the game itself and daily seminars focusing on issues of culture, gender, language, race, and religion. By engaging students/campers in challenging activities on the court and in the classroom, the desired objective of embracing diversity and championing its dissemination can be realized using basketball as a vehicle for personal growth and understanding.
