Creating an Account
Faculty who have been working at Haverford College since before DATE?? already have accounts within DSF and can look up their password HERE??. All students and any faculty who have begun working at Haverford College since DATE?? must create an account in Digital StoreFront before using it for the first time.
- Go to the DSF homepage (http://printcenter.haverford.edu).
- Click the "Register" link in the Login box.
- Fill in the form as indicated. (Note: if you choose a security question different than the default question, the password you entered will disappear, and you will have to re-type it.)
- Check the box to accept the license agreement.
- Click "Continue."
- On the next page, it will show the Haverford Print Center. Click "Register" in the lower right corner.
- You will see a confirmation page and should also receive an email from printcenter@haverford.edu confirming your registration. Click "Get Started" to return to the main page of Digital StoreFront.
Logging in to DSF
- Go to the DSF homepage (http://printcenter.haverford.edu).
- In the Login box, enter your DSF username and password.
- Click "Login."
Submitting a Job via DSF
Please note: not all of the services offered by the Digital Print Center are available through DSF. Check out our full range of services or contact the Digital Print Center directly if you have questions about other jobs.
Getting Started
- Login to DSF. (Note: it is possible to upload jobs to DSF without first logging in. However, you will not be able to access any saved files or saved jobs prior to logging in; and you will be prompted to login before checking out.)
- In the left-hand menu, choose "Basic Prints" or "Booklets."
- Identify the type of job you wish to print.
- Optional: Click "Preview" to see a picture of the type of job indicated.
- Click "Begin."
Step 1: Upload File
- Name your job and indicate the desired quantity.
- Click the "Browse" button.
(Note: the "Supported File Types" link beneath the "Select File" box makes it look like you can only upload PDF documents. This is not the case. See What kinds of files can I upload to DSF? in the FAQ for a list of all the filetypes you may upload to DSF.) - Navigate to the file of your choice.
- Click "Open."
- Optional: If you wish to save this file in DSF for future print jobs, check "Add to 'My Saved Files' for future use" before uploading the file.
- Click "Upload file."
- Upload the file.
- Optional: Upload additional files as needed for this print job. (All files uploaded into a print job will be combined as a single print job. If you wish to submit separate files for separate print jobs, you will need to create a separate job altogether.)
- Optional: Under "File(s) Added to this Job," use the up and down arrows to rearrange the order or your files. Use the "X" to remove a file from the print job.
- Click "Next."
Step 2: Print Options
- Choose the appropriate media type and customize options as desired.
- Enter any special instructions you have for the Print Center staff in the "Special Instructions" box. (E.g., include notes, clarification of what you want, a request for a proof, etc.)
- Click "Next."
Step 3: Review Process
- The gray window should display your job. If it doesn't display properly, see "Why isn't my job rendering properly?"
- Below the gray window, review the options set for your job.
- If edits are needed, click "Previous" to go back. Otherwise, check the box for "I Approve." Note: Digital Print Center staff will not be held responsible for design or spelling errors to your job. Please make sure you have reviewed and approved of the job.
- Click "Add to Cart."
Your Shopping Cart
You will be taken to your shopping cart. To check out, enter your "Requested Ship Date and Time," review your order, and then click "Checkout." Otherwise, click "Continue Shopping" to add additional jobs to this order.
Working with Saved Files
- Go to the DSF homepage http://printcenter.haverford.edu/dsf.
- login to your account using the box on the righthand side of the window.
- Click on the "My Account" link in the upper right corner of the window.
- In the lefside column of the new screen that appears, look for links for "Files" and "Saved Jobs."
Checking on the Status of your Job
When you initially submit a job, an email is sent to you that you that includes a URL which you can use to track the status of your job. You can use that URL, or you can log into DSF directly.
- Log in to DSF.
- On the red menu bar, click "Order Status."
- Click "View Detail" to see the details and status of your job.

Resetting your DSF Password
- From the DSF homepage, click "Forgot your password?" beneath the login box.
- Enter your DSF username. (This is the username you chose when creating your DSF account, which may or may not be different from your Haverford email username.)
- Click "Next." (Note: if you simply hit the return button on your keyboard, you will be redirected to the DSF homepage.)
- Answer your secret question. (It is case sensitive.)
- Click "Submit." This will generate an email with a subject line of "Your DSF Password" from printcenter@haverford.edu. This email contains a temporary password.
- Go back to the DSF homepage.
- Log in with the temporary password.
- You will be prompted to create your own new password. Enter your desired password twice.
- Click "Save Changes."
